We're Grubby, the UK's first 100% plant-based recipe kit.

Our mission is to make plant-based cooking more convenient and accessible without costing the earth.

Championing British produce and suppliers 

We support and partner with a family-run farm based here in the UK.

Our produce is mostly grown in Kent, Essex and Bedfordshire on organic land, polytunnels and modern glasshouses.

Most of our pulses and grains are British-grown and we champion British produce wherever possible! 

Tastes good, does good

Our packaging is 100% recyclable, compostable and produced in the UK in over 95% of cases. You won't find us using any unnecessary plastics.

All our London deliveries are made by bike and we will continue to use pedal power wherever we can.

We offset any food waste through two fantastic food waste partners, so no grub goes unused.

Nutritious and delicious  

All of our recipes have been designed to create a balanced nutritious meal plan.

Our recipes include on average a variety of six or more fresh vegetables. That's your 5 a day sorted!

Giving back

Giving is in our DNA. We delivered over 1,000 meals to London NHS hospitals in 2020.

Now for every Grubby box sold, we are donating a meal to a child living in poverty in Uganda through our partnership with

We believe in real human customer service. We always reply to emails within 24 hours and we won't put you through listening to naff hold music.

We want to help you save time. Most of our meals are ready in less than 30 mins.

Our recipes come with a Spotify playlist to chop along too. Creating good vibes in the kitchen is what we're all about.

Our roots 

Martin, our founder, was inspired to start Grubby back in 2019. After years of working within the office catering world, he had a dawning realisation.

There must be a better way for tired office employees to grab all the ingredients needed for a wholesome dinner as they left work. No more post-work hangry moments. No more aimless browsing in crowded supermarkets. No more work on top of work.

Couple this light-bulb moment with his own personal exploration with plant-based food and a growing sense of dissatisfaction at the amount of plastic waste created within the food industry and the Grubby seed was planted.

Like so many, our world was turned upside down with the outbreak of COVID. Our office-focussed operations came to a grinding halt. Instead, we turned our attention to giving back in any way we could. With the support of friends, family and loyal customers, we raised enough money to deliver over 1,000 meals to NHS hospitals.

Seeing all the warming feedback from NHS staff gave us the confidence to start delivering straight to your doorstep. Fast forward to now, and we've provided over 15,000 meals!

We've come a long way from doing all orders on two rickety bikes armed with veg crates. Since we started, your feedback and knowing people enjoy getting Grubby is what gets us up in the morning.
